If you enjoy having a a cocktail every now and then, leave your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your pocketbook, your wallet, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checks back at the hotel. Only take only the cash you intend to spend on beverages, tips and few dollars you expect to throw away and leave the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Just realistic. You might have a win after a intoxicated night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to hook a long toss at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that adventure because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you always drink alcohol and wager. These activities simply don’t mix.
Leaving your money out of the casino might be a tiny bit drastic, but preventative measures for excessive actions is a requirement. If you wager to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and play. If you can afford to blow your money without a concern, then drink all the gratuitous alcohol your stomach are able to handle, but don’t pack charge cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of going after losses after your befuddled brain squanders every little thing!
Allow me to carry this one step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then head on to the internet to gamble in your preferred casino either. I love to drink from the coziness of my condo, but since I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can’t drink and gamble.
Why? Even though I do not consume alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it’s absolutely enough to cloud my judgment. I bet, so I do not drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not gamble at the same time. Both create a decimating, and expensive, drink.
