If you enjoy a beer from time to time, leave your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and checkbooks at home. Pack whatever money you intend to use on beverages, tipping and few dollars you intend to squander and leave the rest behind.

Contemptuous? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You may well have a profit following a boozy evening out with your friends and be blessed sufficiently to hook a long toss at a hot craps game. Hang on to that account because it is as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink alcohol and wager. The two simply do not go well together.

Leaving your cash at home is a little dramatic, but defensive measures for drastic actions is essential. If you gamble to win, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you like to be wasteful with your money without a concern, then drink all the free alcohol you are able to handle, but do not take credit cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your befuddled self loses everything!

Allow me to carry this one step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then hop on to the internet to bet in your favorite internet casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my apartment, but due to the fact that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can not drink and bet.

How come? Although I do not drink to excess, when I drink, it is certainly adequate to blur my better judgment. I wager, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. Both create an awful, and expensive, cocktail.
